At the Library-
By Mia Schrock

Merry Christmas, everyone! The Christmas season is my favorite time of the year. I love all the traditions that my family does each year. Like how my dad does all his Christmas shopping on the day before Christmas eve. He does it every. single. year! Each year, I love to go to the WPL’s Noon Year’s Eve-Eve Party. This year it is on December 30th from 11am to noon so make sure to join us! I remember the first time I helped with it and I loved to see all the fun that the kids were having, especially when we dropped balloons off the second floor to ring in the Noon Year. Back then my younger brother still participated in it while I helped Jenisa. This year he can help too if he wants. It’s funny how times have changed and I can no longer call him my little brother. He is almost taller than me! This year, make sure to spend time with your family and let them know how much they mean to you. I know I am very thankful for my family at home and here at the library! After working here for almost a year I am so thankful for this job and getting to work with such amazing people! Merry Christmas and have a Happy Noon-Year’s!
