At the Library 6/3/21

By LeAnn Kunz

Summertime is here, the “livin’ is easy”, and is time for another Ridiculous Days Book Sale at the Washington Public Library.  Stop by on Thursday, June 3 from 8 a.m.–7 p.m., Friday, June 4 from 8 a.m.–4 p.m., and Saturday, June 5 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and “fill a bag for a buck”!  Stock up for the pool and the beach, the patio and the porch, the planes, trains, and automobiles.  Or just get a pile to put in front of the air conditioner!  All of the funds will go towards future programing and projects at the library.  We have lots of books in lots of genres to sell and they will be located in the front vestibule during this sale for you to shop.

In the upcoming months we are also planning to refurbish the ReBook room, our bookstore in the lower level of the library.  We have received some grant money to repaint and spiff up the room.  After that is complete, the Teen Advisory Board will be restocking it with fresh, used books and it will be open daily later in the summer.

We hope you will come buy some books.  Reduce, reuse, ReBook!
