Children's Programs

A wide variety of Children's Programs are planned through out the year.

Programming For Younger Children

Several storytimes are offered to children throughout the course of the year who are of age five and under. Activities include songs, finger plays, stories, and crafts. There  are several sessions to choose from. Other reading programs for children kindergarten thru second grade are also offered throughout the year. Call the library or watch for information on dates and times.

Programming For Grade School

Various programs are offered throughout the school year for children in kindergarten to fifth grade. This includes Early-Out Wacky Wednesdays that are held at various times of the year and No School Specials. Summer Reading Club

The Washington Free Public Library has offered a Summer Reading Program for children since 1955. Stop in the library or visit our Facebook page for more information
