Genealogy Search Request

The Washington Genealogy Room is located at the Washington Public Library but is staffed by dedicated volunteers. Because of this please permit time for your request to be searched.

Genealogical volunteers will research your request and charges will include $0.10 for each photocopy made plus the cost of postage. Any donations are appreciated.

Information pertaining to your request will be mailed to you using the given mailing address or you will be contacted by email. Please include your email address in the text of your request.

Requested information needs to be as specific as possible, i.e. surnames, first and middle names if possible, dates of birth or death. If you are looking for an article from any of the local county newspapers, the date and name of the newspaper would be beneficial in completing the search.
