Click on the following links to find excellent books to read. These include award winners, both new and old. Look around, and check with the library to make sure we have the books you want! (We are always willing to borrow from another library, or to purchase suggested books.)

Juvenile Series and Sequels: The Mid-Continent Public Library has a very extensive database you can search for series by subject, title, or author.

NPR's Top Ten Children's CDs of 2007 - From country to hip hop you can find a CD that fills any child's taste!

Book Adventure! - A free program that generates a book list by your child's reading level and interest. Earn points and prizes by completing multiple-choice questions after reading the book.
